***I ENCOURAGE YOU TO "FOLLOW" ME ON EBAY, AND TO CHECK OUT MY OTHER LISTINGS, AS I ALWAYS HAVE MANY JFK ASSASSINATION RELATED ITEMS, AND OTHER HISTORICAL ITEMS AVAILABLE. I AM ALWAYS ADDING NEW HISTORICAL ITEMS INTO MY EBAY STORE*** This is for an EXTREMELY RARE original Type 1 (developed from the camera original negative in November of 1963) Kodak color photo, approximately 5" x 7" in size, taken by former White House photographer and personal photographer to President John F. Kennedy, Cecil W. Stoughton, now deceased. The photo was taken at Houston International Airport in Houston, Texas on November 21, 1963 after Air Force One had landed there. The photo depicts First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy as she was greeting the crowd there. President John F. Kennedy is beside her but he can't be seen in the photo. JFK would depart Houston that night to travel to Fort Worth, where he would spend the last night of his life at the Hotel Texas there. The next day he would be assassinated in Dallas, Texas. When this photo was taken, he had but barely a day to live. The photo bears Stoughton's personal handwritten filing numbers on the reverse side. ***This was Cecil Stoughton's personal file copy of this particular photo and originates from his estate. (2) accompanying certificates of authenticity will also be included, see the attached images* read more
