This is a 1960 Kennedy campaign hat which was handed out at a Reading, PA, political rally before the November election. JFK visited Reading, PA during his campaign. This hat appears the same as hats given out all over the US. This hat has been in my family since 1960 and has not been altered. The scotch tape that holds the pictures has yellowed over the years. The top picture is warped slightly and t is a small (less than 1/2 inch) tear at the bottom of the pic. The edges of the hat have a few minor cracks. Has been stored in a dry, non-smoking home.
