This sale is for 1 x £10 (ten pounds) Irish Punt note and 1 x £5 (five pounds) Irish Punt note, sold as a pair as shown in the pictures. The £10 Central Bank of Ireland Banknote features James Joyce on the front and on the rear there is some James Joyce text over a map of Dublin. The front of the £5 note features Catherine McAuley, an Irish nun, who founded the Sisters of Mercy in 1831. There is a schoolroom scene on the rear. Both notes were souvenirs of a holiday many years ago! They are generally creased, but there are no tears or pen marks etc.
