Joseff was known for making jewelry for the film industry, as he had developed a special matte plating, that did not reflect camera light...as well as period looking jewelry for many films and the stars themselves!This wonderful brooch features Man with Turban on his head, three dimensional and quite detailed! Great Pin...this was produced for movies as well as for his retail line...quite popular and dramatic. This is an iconic JOSEFF design and seen in Joanne Ball's book: Jewelry of the Stars, pages 134-135, in several versions. Take a look at the matching earrings, also in fine condition, for sale this week as well!In very fine vintage condition, signed with JOSEFF signature. This particular pin is in fine condition with great patina, and lots of lacquer on it, in original never worn condition. The pin measures about 2.0" x 1.50".
