P Hummel Lidded Celery Salt Jar from the Danbury Mint Spice Jar Collection Cute Boy With Backpack For your Hummel Collection-HummelCelarySalt1 Details Description: Offered here is the Danbury Mint Hummel Celery Salt lidded storage jar. This cylindrical jar has a lid with a plastic ring that keeps it closed tight. This piece is from the Spice Jar collection and feature a young boy carrying a backpack and a wrapped item in his hand. He is possibly going to school. The boy is wearing typical boots and alpine shorts. Just a cute little boy! The bottom of the jar is marked M. J Hummel (c) ARS-AG Cham Switzerland 1987, Made in Japan. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of our description. Additional Information: The backs of each jar in the collection has some information about the spice it contains. They are made of fine ivory-colored porcelain with a band of 24 kt gold around the top and bottom of the container. Each is stamped with the M.J. Hummel trademark, with the copyright of ARS AG Zug, Switzerland, Made In Japan. Size:The jar measures 4 1/8" in height and is ~ 1 3/4" in diameter at the base. Condition:Jar is in excellent condition and shows minimal evidence of wear, if any. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing. The lid's plastic ring is intact, clean, but appears to have yellowed with time. read more
