Huge & Splendid Art Deco Chromed Chandelier France 1930

Stunning and huge Art deco chandelier from France, made around 1930. The fixture of the chandelier is completely chromed, the lamp shades are all made of thick-walled, molded and pink-colored glass. Each lamp shade shows an amazing strict geometrical pattern and is made of frosted glass. The pattern of the shades were partly clear polished to achieve a better contrast. In total the chandelier has six arms with lampshades and one bigger glass bowl underneath. The chandelier looks absolutely great, no matter if it is illuminated or not. It is very hard to find an authentic chandelier in such an elaborated and elegant Art deco design. Please compare with the numerous images below the item description, and you will see that the strict geometrical shape as the geometrical pattern are a very fine example for the Art deco principles of design and quality. The chandelier is in excellent, used condition and shows only light signs of use. Each glass shade is free from any damage. The chrome plating still has its brightness, on some very small parts the chrome shows light scratches and above it is on some small parts it is light attrited like it is age-appropriate for a chandelier with an age of circa 80 years. If the chandelier is hanging, the attrited parts are not visible. The chandelier is rewired, but its cables need to be changed for U.S. standard. !!Please scroll down below to see all pictures!! The total height of the chandelier is 31.1" (79 cm). The max. diameter is 26" (66 cm). Each lampshade has a diameter of 6.3" (16 cm). The glass bowl below has a diameter of 10.2" (26 cm).
