Greetings viewers. Please be sure to read the auction description IN IT'S ENTIRETY before placing any bids. Up for auction is a vintage 16 oz. bottle of Guerlain Shalimar Eau de Cologne that is 95% of the original Shalimar Eau de Cologne. It is 9 3/4" tall and 6 1/8" across. The braided white silk cord is undisturbed and the Guerlain "G' initialed metal emblem is still attached to the silk floss. Because the cord is still attached to the stopper and neck of the bottle, I cannot see how the stopper could have ever been removed from the bottle. I can smell the spicy, exotic Shalimar scent inside and it is delicious but I cannot after all these years ascertain how the scent will be after it is opened and applied to the skin. The bottle is missing its SHALIMAR paper label but you can see the impression of the word SHALIMAR ON THE GLASS when you gently exhale onto it. See picture 3 right in the middle of the picture. The letters HP-standing for bottle maker Pochet et de Courval are raised on the underside as are the words GUERLAIN, 90% ALCOOLIQUE and BOTTLE MADE IN FRANCE. My pictures show the details.
