This auction is for the HOLY GRAIL of Thomas Wooden Railway Learning Curve produced toys, THE FABLED BRONZE TOBY! Yes, I does exist and has been part of a private collection for 13+ years. The Bronze Toby is completely authentic and has the authentic molded bronze wheels that could only be produced by the original plastic mold in the Learning Curve china factory. The original plastic mold for this item is likely to have been destroyed after several years of use. This deco production sample was made for a marketing photo shoot and was subsequently dropped, this item is not a custom design.The Bronze Toby is a unique and attractive piece, and represents a phenomenal piece from the Learning Curve Era. Comes in small protective display case for shipping purposes. And is the perfect addition to the true Thomas Wooden Railway Collector.This is the only Bronze Toby known to still be in existence after so many years, and the only Bronze Toby developed by The Learning Curve. The Bronze Toby is in pristine condition under a display case and has been in climate controlled storage, and never played with. There is no discoloration or chipping on the engine.
