With Villechaize's name typed onto Screen Gems tag in vest. Costume unsigned. 2"x11¾ maroon clip-on tie, 14"x18¾ dark blue pinstriped vest with two pockets and 35"-inch dark blue pinstriped vest pants with 26-inch inseam and 25-inch (approximate) waist. Vest has Screen Gems tag with Villechaize's name typed on it. This costume was possibly worn by Villechaize on Fantasy Island . The series was produced in part by Columbia Pictures Television, the successor of Screen Gems. French-born actor Herve Villechaize (1943-1993) got his big screen break as "Nick Nack" in the James Bond film, The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) . However, he is best remembered for the role that followed: Ricardo Montalban's assistant "Tattoo" on the hit TV series Fantasy Island (1974-1983). He did not return for the show's final season, having unsuccessfully demanded a salary equal to Montalban's, and the ratings fell. His career stalled thereafter, and - depressed and drinking heavily - he committed suicide a decade later. Lightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.See more material read more
