Antique Scalloped Salad Plate - Haviland & Co. Limoges Red Backstamp For your consideration is an antique and absolutely beautiful handpainted scalloped salad plate created by Haviland & Co. This piece looks to have been made in the late 1800s through the very early 1900s. The Haviland & Co. Limoges logo is in red underglaze and the HaCo. logo is in green, underlined and centered above a green L. This handpainted Haviland & Co. Limoges salad plate is of an autumn floral scene The colors are beautiful and unique. The scalloped edges are trimmed in gold and also have a slight gold overspray. This Haviland & Co. Limoges salad plate measures 7 5/8" in diameter. T he condition is very good with no cracks or crazing. T is 1 chip along the rim, each approximately 1/4" x 3/16" oval. T is normal estate wear and some minor wear in the handpainting. Overall, considering age, this is a lovely and unique handpainted antique salad plate that is amazing.
