If you check out my last few pictures you will see nine of my working duck decoys all from one estate in Harve de Grace,Md- home of the the World Famous Chesapeake Bay Carver R.Madison Mitchell. I was going to purchase these fine birds anyway but when the estate owner said her husband was a hunting partner of Mr.Mitchell back in the 1930-40's, and he helped him by repairing the damaged decoys after the season, in an old shed behind the Funeral Parlor it only added to their appeal. I cannot tell you exactly who carved each one of these decoy's, but I guarantee this story to be true and I will back it up 100% full refund if you are not satisfied with any purchases. This listing is for a nice Canvasback duck which measures 6" width ( middle of the body ) and 15 1/2" from bill to tail. This decoy is in excellent original condition, with some paint wear on the body and a few shrinkage cracks on the bottom as shown( minor). Be sure to check out all of the wonderful decoys as I can combine shipping!
