Handsome Heriz - 1930s Antique Persian Rug - Tribal Oriental CarpetSize: 8.3 x 11.3 ft.Made in the Heriz district, about 40 miles east of Tabriz , and which comprises an area of some 40 miles by 40 miles, containing many rug weaving villages - all weaving the same general type. The field of these rugs are generally in some shade of red, rose, or rust, covered with a conventionalized angular floral or geometric design in blues, pink, green, ivory, brown, tinges of canary, and or plum. Most contain large medallions, covered with other designs.Good condition! No stains, no odor. Sides and ends original. Medium low pile. As shown in pictures.8275096
