This charming item was designed and made by me. It was great fun to make and I love how it turned out. It would look great on the wall or propped on a shelf as an accent piece.Hooked on a premium linen base, the rug is made from wool fabrics in shades of rich red for the heart and a brown blue red plaid for the background. Edges are finished with matching Heather brown wool yarn whipped over binding tape for a secure and professional finish. Rug measures approximately 4 by 5.5 inches.I've nailed it to a vintage wood cutting board that I painted deep red with a dark glaze added in. Cutting board measures 5 inches wide by 9.5 inches high. Has a hole for hanging on a nail. Also a piece of cotton homespun.One of a kind. Simple and sweet.Would look great in so many settings. I ship promptly with tracking, and refund excess shipping.
