WELCOME TO MY AUCTION!!! UP FOR BID:*RARE* GRISWOLD Cast Iron LOAF PAN 877 Large Block Logo Erie, PA. This is IT!!! One of the Rarest Griswold pieces made!!!Production time for the Loaf Pan (pattern 877) would be sometime in the 30's or 40's. Note that the piece is called a Loaf Pan and not a Meat Loaf Pan as it is referred to in Harned's book on Griswold. The Pan was made in chrome finish in addition to black iron. The Loaf Pan is very rare, which are, themselves, hard to find!I tried to take several pictures of the pan. IT HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED !!!!! Pan measures: 10" long X 5.5" WIDE X 2.5" DEEP No Cracks can be seen, and the exterior could be restored very easily. The inside bottom has something on it, could be a build up of rust or 70 years old meatloaf ?
