11x14" sheet of vellum backed w/white paper has lead pencil and white paint original art, w/image area measuring 5.5x11.5". Art is by Bill Campbell (1920-2017), cartoonist and creator of Hawk Model Company's Weird-Oh, Frantics and Silly Surfers models during the 1960s. Offered here is art that was likely created as a concept for the Silly Surfers line, featuring manic-looking Gremmie character on Iron Cross surfboard, a seagull standing on his backside, covering it ears. Penciled title below art. Campbell has signed in image area, adding "'64" date. Sheet has some lt. handling but is o/w VF/Exc.
