You are looking at an old, handmade handcrafted instrument. It appears to be a type of Gourd Piano similar to the Catania folk instruments made long ago. It has seven notes or prongs to play. You play it with the tip of your thumb. This type of ancient instrument originated in Africa years ago. They also make them in the Appalachian Mountains I'm told. I'm not sure w this instrument came from or who made it. It is unique and a bit strange. That is what attracted me to it. I'm not sure how old this instrument is actually.
