You are bidding on a unique spoon which was a gift to my mom about 34 years ago. It is a regular sized tea spoon, about 5 ½" long. The bowl is shaped like an orange leaf with great detail and a nice gold wash look. The handle is like a stem of the tree. Then it has several 3D oranges and leaves on the end of the handle. On the back: 38, " Sterling ", a lion, an anchor, an ornate letter "G", Pat. 91. My research shows me that this was made by Gorham Manufacturing Co. from Providence, Rhode Island. is the information I got from a silver dealer. Pattern: No. 38 (sterling, 1891) by Gorham Pattern #: 1891 Description: Sterling , 1891, Molded Floral The spoon is in excellent condition. The lady who gave it my mother had it displayed in a spoon collection. My mother then displayed in her spoon collection! So if it has ever been used it was a long time ago!
