GORGEOUS VINTAGE PAIR of ORNATE WATERFORD CRYSTAL LAMPS with SILVER RIMS ~ Nice on DESK, TABLE, DRESSERVERY NICE FI ERY PRISM COLORS have beautiful SPARKLE in the Sunlight ~The entire length of the bases are full of fairly sharp ZIPPER & NOTCHED type patterns & SWEEPING FAN lines, very ornate & deep lines. The glass is very clear. They are much nicer & finer than the photos show. A few pictures show only a small amount of prism color sparkle.Crystal bases are 9" high, or 10" high to the top of the SILVER METAL BAND, and are 4.5" wide at the widest point. They are heavy & very stable with the wide base. The overall height as shown is 17", with 7" high shades. Buyer could use the harps and different shades and push the height to 20" or so. Guessing these shades are not original, although the color is an elegant pale apricot and look very nice together. Shades in excellent to very good pre-owned condition.UNUSUAL they have a SILVER metal band at the top of the crystal near the socket not the usual gold trim. Apparently there were originally silver coaster like bases that the crystal base set in. I have read they were designed that way so that they could be used with or without the silver base. (Without the silver bases, they look much like antique APB American Brilliant Period cut crystal, and work better with fine antiques.)Both lamps read more
