Gorgeous Antique EASTLAKECarved Mahogany Chair Burl Rail Pieces SALVAGE Parts These pieces came off a gorgeous antique dining chair that needed major restoration work and re-upholstery. The pieces are mahogany and have a lovely natural grain pattern and color. They have significant wear and tear from age, as well as holes and glue residue from past upholstery work; there is also some bracing wood material on the bottom edges that may need to be sanded off. Please see all pictures for a detailed view of the condition of these items. As always, I am willing to answer any questions you may have about this or another piece. Date estimate above is a best guess based on the way the chair was put together. This listing is for both the top rail and seat rail pieces. PLEASE NOTE the broken piece on the top rail; it would be an easy fix with some wood glue because it fits back into place neatly. Both pieces appear to have hand-crafted decorative work, and the top rail has a wonderful burl inlay area. Top rail measures 14" long (not including wooden peg ends); 5.25" tall; 0.75" wide. Seat rail measures 15.5" long (not including wooden peg ends); 3.25" tall; 1" wide.
