The Oiseaux de Paradis, or Bird of Paradise motif, was originally created in 1738. Gien retouched it to add vivid color in 1865. The result is a lovely pattern of french earthenware with a graceful scalloped shape, hand painted blue filet, and colorful birds and flowers.These cups and saucers are vintage/estate and are in pristine condition.
