A good German violin from the 1920-30's. Absolutely no damage or repairs.(Note that the lines on the back are the grain pattern of the wood). The violin is fully blocked and lined, (4 corner blocks) and is well made with very nicely thickness plates. The violin is a Stradivari model, with transparent, light spirit varnish that features golden-brown color. There is no label, but it looks typical of the quality student instruments from Meinel and Herold, Klingenthal, Saxony. The violin is playable as is and has a well balanced tone and good volume/projection. One peg is not original, and would ideally be refitted.
