Double your traffic. Up for bid is an original WW1 Prussian model 1889 officer's sword in very good condition. Its professionally sharpened 33 and 3/8 inch blade is marked back to back squirrels over C.E. For Carl Eickhorn on its side. Blade maintains over 90% of its plated finish, has no oxidation spots, and has two minor blade edge dents. Fixed guard brass handle has no cracks. Wood grip maintains its shark skin cover and wire wrap. There are some small wear holes in the shark skin cover. Handle is tight on the blade with no play or movement. Scabbard maintains 50% of its black painted finish, has oxidation spots, and has no dents. A very good original Prussian model 1889 officer's sword!
