S et of 6 antique glass buttons - black with a heavy gold overlay Deutsche Reichsbahn German railroad conductor buttons My research indicates that the arrows on the buttons mean the conductor operated a switch-train, similar to a trolley car These pre-date WWII. I believe these particular buttons date to the 1920s - early 30s. Unused and straight out of the original manufacturers wooden crate Mild scuffing from storage and a bit of patina on the metal shanks No chips or cracks Approximately 1 inch each I have a few more of these German Imperial Railroad buttons in smaller sizes, but these are by far the largest and nicest condition.
