Up for sale is this vintage 1956 example of M.I. Hummel's "Just Resting" figurine. She is in beautiful condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, scratches or crazing. The colors are very vibrant and the original paper side sticker is still mostly still present. The base shows the 1956 version of TMK2 called the "Circle Bee". It is also marked "Western Germany" as well as "C by W. Goebel 1938". 1938 refers to the year the design was first modeled by master sculptor Reinhold Unger. The incised numbers are under the stamps, but read 112/1, making this the 4" model of the figurine.
