This is for a LIMITED EDITION COLLECTOR'S PLATE entitled "The George Washington Plate" by the Danbury Mint, Serial No. 780 that is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! It is a Bavarian China Plate and measures approx. 8"d. This White House China Pattern was used during the Presidency of George Washington, 1789-1797. The pattern, known as "Martha Washington's States China" has a chain border, each link containing the name of one of the fifteen states then in the Union. Elegant use of Gold on the Plate--very luxurious. I have a collection of several different President's plates in this series that I will be selling. This is the first one that I am listing.
