George Jones Stoke-on-Trent England Individual Floral Sauce Boat / Creamer c1890 Description This auction is for a hand painted, George Jones Stoke-on-Trent , England individual sauce boat or could be used as a creamer. Floral decorations on the front and back, ribbed body and spout, and a curved and scrimped border with a reverse C shaped handle. Back stamped in black “Stoke, G over J, & Sons (within crescent), Crescent , China ”, which should date to c1891-1921; it does not bear the word “ England ” so this could be earlier then 1891. There are no chips, cracks or hairlines; normal surface marks from use; very little gilt wear. Please see all photos for any additional condition details. Approximate dimensions 4 7/8” long, 2 1/2” wide, 3” tall to handle top and 2 1/2” tall to bowl top.
