George Herriman Krazy Kat Daily Comic Strip Original Art (King Features Syndicate, 1917). From fairly early in the series for this long-running strip, considering it had only started in 1913, this daily has Ignatz throwing something a bit more substantial than a brick at Krazy. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 18.75" x 5.75". Although not dated on the front (it is only marked "21" in the lower right), the board has a printer's engraving order on the back that is dated 3-12-1917. So that gives an approximate publishing date. The board is lightly toned on the edges, and with a single fold in the gutter between panels 3 and 4. In Excellent condition.HID03201242017 Grade: 0, Service: Uncertified, Service No.: 1380852
