A beautiful vintage (mid-century Modernist style) Sterling silver moonstone pansy pin/brooch by famous Danish designer, Georg Jensen, featuring a round cabochon cut beautiful, clear pale blue-tone moonstone in the center. Hand crafted, with a soft hammered finish applied to the surface, the piece represents a large round pansy flower, with curvy overlapping petals with lightly scalloped edges. Raised beads lines the top side of the moonstone. Piece created after 1945. Measures approx. 1 3/4" by 1 1/2" . Weight around 13 grams. Stamped with Georg Jensen logo and "Sterling Denmark" and the item number " #113". The back of the brooch has a bar pin and clasp. Note from photos, brooch is in excellent condition, however stick pin on back has a very slight bend, but it still closes in the clasp with no problems.Please let me know if you have questions or want further photos provided -- before bidding! There is at this time another exact same brooch listed at more than double the price I am asking. I have placed a starting bidding price that is fair for a rapid sale.
