A 21st-century Cleopatra you'd be wearing this, a futuristic modernist collar necklace with geometric shapes.This necklace is top designer quality and is signed — "him" or "miy" — I just have not encountered these initials before (if you do recognize the logo, please share info). From the 1970s, the era of mod geometrics, this necklace exemplifies the best of this design aesthetics.The necklace is a wide collar showcasing various-shaped geometric panels that are enameled glossy black and marbled bronze, and accented with gilt trim. It's an asymmetric design, with each panel shaped or sized differently.The shapes include open circles in four sizes, rectangles, and unusual polygons that fit perfectly in between the rounds. The circles are all marbled bronze enamel; the unique polygon shapes are all black enamel.The two largest pieces, each with four sides (one of them arched), form a point in the center portion of the. The other enameled panels flank these two center shapes and taper to skinny bars along the foldover clasp at the base.Along the center portion, the necklace is about 1 1/2" wide, and the necklace narrows to 3/8" along the nape portion.
