Offering a great commemorative pitcher by Cook pottery Co., Trenton, N.J. The pitcher is about 4" tall and is transfer decorated with depictions of George Dewey , the flagship Olympia and crossed flags. The spout features a fabulous eagle head spout form trimmed in gold. Nice rope and knot handle also accented with gold.Molded bulbous pitcher with neck and spout forming feathered wings and beak/head in low relief accented in gold with "rope" handle, printed in black with view of a ship, portrait of uniformed male, and crossed flags, painted red and blue, under spout.The bottom is stamped with MADE BY COOK POTTERY Co. TRENTON, N.J. and PATENTED JULY 1899.The condition is excellent with the exception of one very tiny nick to the tip of one eagle feather. This is hardly noticeable and can barely be felt with the finger.A really neat piece to add to your collection.Thanks for viewing.
