SEMI-PRECIOUS GEMSTONE PLECTRUM By Sharktooth USA These beautiful picks are hand-crafted in the USA from Carnelian Agate. Agate is a microcrystaline form of Quartz found mainly in volcanic rock. Carnelian Agate, found mostly in Brazil, India, Siberia, and Germany, has a distintictive orange/red colour due to iron oxide impurities. Agate is highy prized as a semi-precious gemstone, and is used extensively in jewellery making as it can be polished to a very fine smooth finish. Apart from it's beautiful appearance, Agatesdurability and low-friction properties makes it an ideal material for guitar picks. The specially designed Sharktooth shape offers 3 picking edges & 6 angles , producing Bell-like tone quality on the high strings combined with warm, smooth tones on the bass notes. The sharp tip is bevelled to 1.00mm while the rounded lobes are bevelled to 2.00mm. A finger indent and engraved shark logo improve grip and playing feel.
