Gents 1950's (?) TUDOR PRINCE 17J Automatic Wrist watch in Stainless Steel case. Crystal, case and bracelet all good. My book says this is the Rolex-Tudor cal 390 movement. The watch runs, winds and sets. The auto wind appears OK. Dial has very slight degradation in the 4 baton area. I think the outer edge is OK. It appears darker, but this could be an effect of the light through the curve of the crystal. Works strongly BUT... The balance spring is not a perfect spiral. The spring has many turns and low stiffness. Movement of the regulator may cause interference between turns which makes the watch run fast. Overall case diameter 35 mm. Bracelet 18 mm.
