Old original solid BRASS standard callbox long style patrolman belt key factory marked/stamped POLICE with badge number 11 in head of key. (Hard to get a good picture but key is in great shape!) Overall about 3 1/4" long and in excellent condition as shown in photos but it is tarnished from age. Used to open SOME Gamewell and other police call box locks and some fire alarm telegraph light traffic boxes that were used in major cities like New York, Boston, Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, Houston, Phoenix, San Diego, Dallas, Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, San Francisco, Columbus, Charlotte, El Paso, Memphis, Seattle, Miami, Tulsa, Oakland, Cleveland, Minneapolis, Wichita, New Orleans, Tampa, Honolulu, Raleigh, Providence, Denver, Baltimore, Nashville Portland, Sacramento, Providence, Kansas City as well as numerous smaller cities. These style keys can be seen on the pistol gun belt of cops next to the bullet and handcuff in old shows like Dragnet, Adam 12, Emergency, Cops, Car 54, Hill Street Blues, LAPD, Untouchables, Mod Squad, Prison, Rockford Files, Streets of San Francisco, FBI, Columbo, Perry Mason, Secret Service, NYPD, SWAT, Rookie Blue, Crime Story as well as lots of old movies.
