This is a new USA made Stoneware Pickling/Storage Crock produced by Burley Clay Products in Roseville, OH, the ONE AND ONLY USA manufacturer who still produces the old-school way with the clay mined directly out of the hills surrounding the plant. Small imperfections in the glaze, minute lumps, bumps, and pock marks are common to ware made this way. The Bluebird insignia on the side pays homage to the fact that in early production times, the process of making pottery would start in the Spring when the Bluebirds were seen for the first time! Free of lead, cadmium, and any other impurities, this crock is ready to go for your pickles, cabbage, meats, and whatever else you want to store in it! Crock measures 9.5" high X 9.5" wide, no chips or cracks. We check each one before shipping, and we package securely. Fast flat rate UPS shipping to Continental USA. Locations in HI, AK, & PR will have higher rates. Sorry, no International Shipping. Thanks for looking!
