For sale is "Stormy Weather", Hummel 71, which is one of themost popular figurines for serious collectors, possibly because of its size; it is almost 7" tall and the umbrella span is almost 4.5". It has no cracks, chips, or crazing, and it is brightly colored. On the reverse is an incised M. I. Hummel. The base is divided, which is preferred by some collectors, and has an incised 71 model number upside down between a black stamped Germany and a blue stamped full bee. Full bees were made between 1950 and 1957, and this one was made early before the partitioning of Germany . Robert L. Miller's 9 th edition Hummel price guide indicates a retail price of $850-950, but this is not reflected in my reserve. Handling, shipping, and insurance will be a flat $12.50 by USPS Priority Mail in the continental US, and the item will be double boxed for safety. I prefer Paypal, but Money Orders and Cashier's Checks are acceptable, please no personal checks.
