TWO FRUIT STILL LIFE PAINTINGS ( AMERICAN SCHOOL, 2ND HALF-19TH / 1ST HALF-20TH CENTURY).Oil on canvas, unsigned. Strawberries spilling from tipped basket, 10"h. 12"w. in Victorian frame, 14"h. 16"w., and oil on board of rosy apples tumbling from a paper-lined basket, signed McClaskey lower right. 7"h. 9.75"w., in an ornate frame, 14"h. 17"w.Condition: The 2nd still life is signed "McCloskey" not "McClaskey". It is a well done image in the manner of William Joseph McCloskey and is similar to one he did of Lady apples in a basket.The 1st has a paper label on stretcher for Charles G.
