Handcrafted Elder Futhark Rune set Approximately 1/2" diameter frosted glass runes that I hand crafted. The runes have been painted and are hand sealed with a clear coat varnish to protect the symbols. Runes were used by the ancient Nordic people as a magical language. Their uses ranged from writing messages and making charms or talismans to predicting the future and magical work. The Elder Futhark style of rune has been believed to possess power and aid magic among the Norse and Germanic peoples for centuries. As a set it can be a powerful aid to your divination work, while individually each rune can be used to lend power to your spells and rituals, with each rune possessing its own meaning and properties. Runes Can be used like Tarot. You can do a 3 rune spread for past, present and future, the Runic Cross, Three Life Spread, and more. You can also do a Yes/No reading as well. Just put the Runes in the Bag they come in and feel the energy. Pull the runes that feel right to you. Each glass cabochon is hand painted with a rune using an acrylic paint. They are left for 24 hours to dry then sealed with a clear coat. They are then cleansed and blessed before packaging.
