This is a darling unusual hanging lantern lamp. It is metal, looks old, hand painted, with faded red blue gold and green, maybe French or Italian. Lantern is made of metal, seems thinner than wrought iron, more like tin or something like that. It weighs one pound, 13 1/8 ounces (826 grams)The hanging lantern has 6 sides, and 3 sides have glass in it (no glass damage noted to the three panels), and no metal details appear broken off. There is a place inside in the bottom of the lantern for a candle.
