Please bid on items ONLY if you are serious about purchasing them! I know that we all have problems. But your problems should not be mine. If you live in Europe and bid $30 on an item that weighs 70 pounds, it is only reasonable to expect that the shipping costs will be significantly more than the purchase price and possibly the value of the item. Unless otherwise stated, all items will be shipped from Portland, OR. To those who have no idea w this is, let's just say 168 miles south of Seattle or 632 miles north of San Francisco. Payment: 1. All transactions are to be conducted in US funds. 2. I am one of the few (very few) who may, at my discretion, choose to use the 'honor system'. However, if you have recent 'negative feedback', depending on the nature of the situation, I may require you to at least attempt to make amends with the seller you have been in dispute with. 3. ABSOLUTELY NO PAYPAL! However, I will gladly accept money orders, personal checks, IOU's, land deeds, promissory notes, etc; as long as my bank (actually, a credit union) will accept them! Shipping: 1. Buyer pays the actual shipping costs only. I will ship anyw in the world that the U.S. Government allows. Since I do not add handling fees, packing fees, boxing fees, or fee fees, it may take me a few days to come up with adequate packaging material. Especially on larger items. On items which require crating, this will be included on all purchases of $100 or more. I will also include delivery to Forward Air (my carrier of choice), or any other transportation service located in the Portland area. Otherwise, crating will be done for the cost of materials only. 2. I generally use the USPS Priority with delivery confirmation for lighter items and books (due to the 'book rate' discount), Fed-Ex for heavier items, and as previously stated, Forward Air for items requiring crating. However, I am a very easy person to work with, and will do anything a reasonable person would do and a few things a reasonable person would not do in order to complete the transaction in a way that leaves both myself and the buyer smiling. So if you do not specify a method of shipment, I will use my own discretion and ship accordingly. Light items selling for less than $5 may be shipped standard parcel post and without delivery confirmation, unless the buyer requests otherwise. 3. Local pick-up is welcome.
