This lovely serving bowl is from Frankoma Pottery. The bowl measures 9 1/2 inches by 6 1/4 inches, the glaze color is named Plainsman Brown, and it has 'Frankoma 201' back stamped. Its art deco-like accent 'folds' make it an attractive and unusual piece of serving ware that looks good on just about any table. Since it is pottery, however, it also could be used in a display of other pieces. This bowl has been gently used. Frankoma Pottery is an American company, founded in Oklahoma in the early 1930s. Its designs and glaze colors were inspired by the American Southwest. The company isn't in business at this time. I have other Frankoma Pottery pieces; so take a look at those.
