The collage features a First Day Cover of the stamp issued to honor Frank Sinatra as one of the great entertainers of America.What is a "First Day Cover Collectible"?When the US Post Office issues a new stamp it selects the date it will be released and the city that it will be placed on sale first. Usually, both the date and location of issuance is connected to the stamp's subject. For example, the Post Office issued the Elvis Presley stamp in Memphis, Tennessee where Graceland is located. The date of issuance was January 8, 1993, the King's birthday.
