Francis Barnum Chilmark Pewter Sculpture "Brother Against Brother" @1988 #1483/2500 Offered is this Estate found, original, fine pewter sculpture titled; "Brother Against Brother". @1988 Limited Edition, #1483/2,500 by Francis Barnum / Chilmark. This features a touching scene of a seated Civil War Union soldier with a canteen in one hand, holding a shirtless, shoeless, wounded Confederate soldier. This shows great details including the soldiers, uniforms, rifle, & equipment, The wood base measures 6-1/4” x 5-1/4”. This stands approx. 4-1/2” tall. I see no damage on the statue. The only slight thing to mention is the finish on the wood base is worn is a few spots mostly on the lower edges. (pictured) This is a very nice vintage piece of art worthy of collecting and displaying. P lease view ALL my pictures carefully to better determine the exact condition to your own satisfaction.
