This is original flint for a flintlock pistol. Total length is 12 inches including the tang. Caliber is around .60. It has no pins under the barrel so it would have had bands. There is a front site but no rear site so I guess it would also have been on the band. The brass inlays are all the same and have the initials LC on the bottom. I would guess that this is from the mid to late 1700s but it is hard to guess a time period on these when you can't find anything on the maker.
