This is a very cool press kit sent out to promote the 2007 launch of the nautical theme park ride Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.It comes housed in a shoebox-sized box that says "You're Invited to Come Aboard" on top. The box is blues with lots of bubbles on the sides and the image of a submerged submarine. Open the top up and a cardboard yellow submarine slowly surfaces to a cute little dock, complete with pelicans perched on wooden posts. You can even hear the pelicans making pelican noises!You can lift the cardboard yellow submarine out of the box. It sits on a stand (with a curved bottom, so the sub sorta has some movement to it) with walls on either side with 3-D "Finding Nemo" images on both sides. The sub is about 9 inches long, 5 inches high and 3 inches wide.Tucked into the inside top of the box is a fold-open invitation to the launch of the ride. It lists hour-by-our all the activities that would be happening that day in Tomorrowland.A very cool kit! Check out the pictures!The ride is based on the 3-D Disney/Pixar film Finding Nemo.
