Fenton WINTER WONDER POLAR BEAR DESCRIPTION: This auction is for a GORGEOUS WINTER WONDER Polar bear. The beautiful design was created exclusively as a Special Order for a retail company, and so difficult to find. There were a very limited number of these bears made. The color of glass was listed as Indigo Blue. It is quite dark in the solid form of the Polar Bear, so looks closer to Cobalt blue than the normal Indigo Blue in my opinion. It has large snowflakes painted and iced sprinkled on the sides and back. It also has the words Winter Wonder on the left flank. Truly a beautiful figurine and will look lovely as a decorative accent. The artist, J.K. Spindler, master Fenton artist and designer, has signed her work on the bottom. The bear is approximately 4 1/2 inches long. This fabulous bear is in excellent condition, there are no chips, cracks or flea bites. It would make a wonderful addition to any serious Fenton collector's collection. There are no chips, cracks or flea bites . It is in a smoke free environment, and will be carefully packaged.
