Fenton Art Glass HP Floating Duck This darling little duck is made from mint green colored satin glass. Looks like he should floating on a pond! Painted with beautiful accents in blue, purple and gold. He is about 5" long and in wonderful vintage condition with no chips or damage. Signed by the artist and he is marked with the impressed Fenton in the oval mark as well as his original Fenton sticker. As of July 6, 2011, Fenton Art Glass announced that it has ceased operations of its traditional art glass and gift items. This is a sad thing to hear as this company has been in business for over 100 years producing beautiful and collectible art glass items...made here in the USA. I'm sure that this will eventually drive up prices as the glass becomes more difficult to find. Be sure to check out my other auctions if you like FENTON as I will be listing many, many beautiful and unusual pieces. I also will try to keep my prices as low as I can and thanks for looking!
