FENTON FROSTY FRIENDS OPAL SATIN SNOWMAN - 2002New old stock from a former Fenton dealer, up for bid is a patriotic snowman that Fenton made as part of its Frosty Friends Christmas series. This snowman, known as "Ross" was made in 2002 from a mould created by Jon Saffell. This opal satin snowman blends Christmas with American patriotic spirit in a pattern designed by Stacy Williams. He wears a red hat with red & white striping around the sides along with a flag-styled, fringed scarf. He wears a patriotic blue jacket. and earmuffs. This snowman was Fenton ware number #5268 P6. The signature of the artist who painted this snowman is on the underside base covered by the original retail label. The snowman has an embossed Fenton logo along the bottom backside rim, and there is also a silver paper Fenton label. As you'd expect, this expressive, jolly snowman has a carrot nose, and he is approximately 4" tall. This snowman is in new, excellent condition and comes in its original box - only removed in order to photograph.
