EUROPEAN BLOWN AND ENGRAVED GLASS STEIN, colorless, cylindrical insert with scrolling wheat/hops decoration fitted into a silver-plate frame and mount with the base featuring shields resting of a bed of flowers with script in between including a date of "1897", integral handle, stamped to the underside "WMF I/0", cover having a figural finial of a Bavarian man with a walking stick. Probably Bohemian. Circa 1897. 11 1/2" HOA. Insert" 5 5/8" H.Condition Undamaged with the hinge below the thumbrest and handle being able to separate easily.
