** EUC ** TWO HITCHCOCK CHAIRS ** EUC *** I am selling TWO SIGNED HITCHCOCK BLACK HARVEST stenciled chairs . These are post 1950. They are of the highest quality and show excellent workmanship and attention to detail. The chairs measure approximately 17" wide, 16" deep, and 36" high. They are fan shaped 8 spindled back rest's, with a thumb nail finish on the outer two spindles. The chairs also have stenciling on the upper part of the backrest area (shoulder blade area) and again on the front of the seat area (knee area) and the stenciled signature on the back of the chair.The chairs are in very good condition showing minimal signs of normal usage. I noticed an imprint under the seat area by the Hitchcock company (please see picture). The chairs are a solid maple wood. In the much sought after black harvest tones. The wood is a warm brown and black with the stenciling gold, orange and red.Please ask all questions before auction end.WILLING TO SHIP. Winner responsible for all shipping costs. Willing to use your preferred method of shipment. Will take to shipping company at no charge. If you are living in the bay area you are more than welcome to pick up at your convenience.
