Combined shipping is always available on any of our items. Superb quality, early 20thC pencil sketch designs (originally from a sketchbook) of ladies evening deresses' and which is signed and dated simply " ERTE 1924 " - see photo, and which is very very much in the circle of the well known Russian born designer ROMAIN de TIRTOFF (1892-1990) although we arn't sure if they are by Tirtoff or by a very talented admirer of his, see provenance below, hence us selling the drawing as "circle of". The portrait is sold unframed. PROVENANCE - We purchased this drawing approx 4 years ago amoungst a huge collection of paintings and watercolours which came out of 1 house in north London (infact the collection we purchased was so large we never even came across this picture in it until we'd had it for about 18 months). We were told the owner of the decessed estate was an obsessive collector who collected paintings/small ornaments etc from fairs/jumble sales/small auctions/junk and antique shops etc around London during the 1960s/70s and 80s paying (we were told) no more than relative small amounts for everything he purchased. In the past 2 years we have done virtually nothing with it (although we meant to) - we've emailed the image off a few times but (of course) never heard back.
